Jennifer Moncrieff completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of California at Davis in 1993 and her Juris Doctor degree at University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1998. At McGeorge School of Law, she graduated in the top 4% of her class while focusing her studies on criminal law classes including criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, expert and scientific evidence, juvenile law, and advanced criminal procedure. Jennifer Moncrieff achieved significant academic success including inclusion on the Dean's List all three years, Order of the Coif, Traynor's Society and special honors in both criminal and international trial advocacy.
Jennifer Moncrieff worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Sacramento County from November 1998 until April 2007. During that time, she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony crimes at every stage of the proceedings. In the last several years, she prosecuted crimes specifically assigned by the Career Criminal Prosecution Unit and the Adult Sexual Assault Prosecution Unit. Ms. Moncrieff has been vigorously representing the rights of people accused of crimes since 2007 with tremendous results.
